Sales Manager – Website Sales (US based)
We're hiring a Sales Manager based in US to take full ownership of Moon Websites' sales engine in this country. You won't just manage a team — you'll build it, coach it, and make sure it consistently smashes the monthly revenue number. Our managers earn well because their teams earn well; this is a high-trust, high-reward seat where what you put in is what you take home.
What a typical day actually looks like
- Daily stand-up: run a 15-minute pipeline review with every agent — what they're working, what's closing this week, who's stuck and why.
- Live coaching: sit in on calls, deconstruct what worked and what didn't, and rewrite scripts that aren't converting.
- Forecasting: own a weekly forecast you can defend to leadership — commit numbers, then hit them.
- Closing support: step into deals your agents can't close alone. You are the senior voice on the call.
- Hiring & ramp: work with recruitment to bring in new agents and get them productive in week 2, not month 2.
- Numbers: own conversion rate, average deal size, sales cycle length, and retention. If a metric slips, you have a plan by the next morning.
What we're looking for in you
- Proven track record of running a sales team that hit or exceeded targets in B2B services, SaaS or agency work.
- Strong coaching instincts — you can spot why a deal is stalling and unblock it.
- Disciplined operator: comfortable with forecasts, KPIs, dashboards and weekly accountability.
- Excellent written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to business owners and senior stakeholders.
- Still hands-on — happy to jump on a call yourself and close a deal when needed.
- Self-starter who can run a remote team without being micromanaged.
How your pay works — in full, no fine print hidden
This role pays a combination of a monthly basic salary, an uncapped commission on every sale, and performance bonuses for hitting revenue milestones. The three components are independent — missing the target only forfeits the basic for that month, it does not stop the commission or the bonuses.
The figures below reflect the rates currently set for US. Pay structures may be adjusted from month to month as we grow and refine our country-by-country plans — but our commitment is simple: we always aim to be among the best-paying employers in this market for this role. 1. Basic salary — currently US$2,500 per month (gated on hitting the monthly sales target)
- US$2,500 is paid for every month in which the team closes at least 25 sales.
- If the target is missed, the basic is not paid that month — but you still keep every penny of commission you earned (see below).
- Over a full year of hitting target at the current rate, that's roughly US$30,000 in basic alone, before commission or bonuses.
2. Commission — currently 5% on every sale, always paid
- For every sale the team closes, 5% of the deal value is paid to you as commission.
- This commission is uncapped and is paid regardless of whether the monthly target is hit. Close one sale or close fifty — you get 5% of all of them.
- This is the part of the pay that scales: doubling your sales doubles your commission.
3. Monthly sales target — currently 25 sales across the team
- The target is 25 closed sales in a calendar month (1st to last day), counted across the whole team.
- Hitting this target is the only gate on the basic salary. It does not affect commission or bonuses.
4. Performance bonuses — paid on top of basic + commission
- Bonus 1 (Tier 1): If team revenue for the month reaches US$30,000, an extra US$1,500 is paid on top of basic and commission. Awarded every month the threshold is hit — not a one-off.
- Bonus 2 (Tier 2): Push team revenue for the month to US$60,000 and a further US$3,500 is paid on top of the Tier 1 bonus (so you receive both in the same month).
The bonuses reset every calendar month — hit the thresholds in March, you get the bonuses in March; hit them again in April, you get them again. There is no annual cap.
5. When you get paid
- All earnings for a given month (basic + commission + bonuses) are paid on day 25 of the following month by bank transfer.
- You receive a full payslip breakdown showing basic, every individual commission line, and any bonus tiers earned.
