Sales Executive (US based)
We're hiring a Sales Executive based in US to sell Moon Websites' core offering — websites, hosting, AI assistants and our growing platform line — to small and medium businesses. This is an outbound and inbound sales role with full training, a warm pipeline and a payout structure that genuinely rewards performance.
What a typical day actually looks like
- Outbound: work a list of qualified prospects by phone, email and WhatsApp. Open conversations, find the pain, book the demo.
- Inbound: respond to leads from the website and ad campaigns within minutes — speed is the single biggest driver of conversion.
- Demos: show our websites, hosting and AI tools live, tied to the prospect's actual business problem. No scripted feature dump.
- Closing: handle objections (price, timing, trust), propose, follow up, and bring the deal home.
- Pipeline hygiene: every conversation logged in the CRM, every follow-up scheduled, nothing slips through the cracks.
- Feedback loop: tell the team what the market is actually asking for so we can keep sharpening the offer.
What we're looking for in you
- 1+ years selling B2B services (websites, SaaS, hosting, agency work, telesales or similar).
- Excellent written and spoken English — you'll be on calls and emails with business owners all day.
- Resilient on the phone — you can take a no, reset, and dial the next number.
- Coachable: you want feedback on your calls and you actually act on it.
- Comfortable working remotely with light supervision and a clear daily routine.
- Honest, organised and target-driven — the role rewards effort honestly.
How your pay works — in full, no fine print hidden
This role pays a combination of a monthly basic salary, an uncapped commission on every sale, and performance bonuses for hitting revenue milestones. The three components are independent — missing the target only forfeits the basic for that month, it does not stop the commission or the bonuses.
The figures below reflect the rates currently set for US. Pay structures may be adjusted from month to month as we grow and refine our country-by-country plans — but our commitment is simple: we always aim to be among the best-paying employers in this market for this role. If a number ever changes, you'll be told before it takes effect, and the live calculator below this description always shows the current numbers.
1. Basic salary — currently US$1,500 per month (gated on hitting the monthly sales target)
- US$1,500 is paid for every month in which you personally close at least 10 sales.
- If the target is missed, the basic is not paid that month — but you still keep every penny of commission you earned (see below).
- Over a full year of hitting target at the current rate, that's roughly US$18,000 in basic alone, before commission or bonuses.
2. Commission — currently 12% on every sale, always paid
- For every sale you personally close, 12% of the deal value is paid to you as commission.
- This commission is uncapped and is paid regardless of whether the monthly target is hit. Close one sale or close fifty — you get 12% of all of them.
- This is the part of the pay that scales: doubling your sales doubles your commission.
3. Monthly sales target — currently 10 sales personally
- The target is 10 closed sales in a calendar month (1st to last day), counted from your personal sales.
- Hitting this target is the only gate on the basic salary. It does not affect commission or bonuses.
4. Performance bonuses — paid on top of basic + commission
- Bonus 1 (Tier 1): If your personal revenue for the month reaches US$10,000, an extra US$750 is paid on top of basic and commission. Awarded every month the threshold is hit — not a one-off.
- Bonus 2 (Tier 2): Push your personal revenue for the month to US$20,000 and a further US$2,000 is paid on top of the Tier 1 bonus (so you receive both in the same month).
The bonuses reset every calendar month — hit the thresholds in March, you get the bonuses in March; hit them again in April, you get them again. There is no annual cap.
5. When you get paid
- All earnings for a given month (basic + commission + bonuses) are paid on day 25 of the following month by bank transfer.
- You receive a full payslip breakdown showing basic, every individual commission line, and any bonus tiers earned.
